Some poor suckers I like to call my old colleagues are currently earning their living by attending the TechCrunch Disrupt conference, where technology, journalism, marketing and ethics meet to have incredibly risky, abusive sex. So naturally San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee swung by for a chat!
I think I just heard Ed Lee say “AT&T has been awesome,” which marks the first time that sentence was uttered in the history of the world.

Dude Ed Lee how about getting the basic infrastructure right instead of meddling in shit you don’t know. Do you email?

Oh, the mayor was there to announce an interactive map mashup using TechCrunch’s own CrunchBase “to show how much funding is coming in to SF startups, where jobs are and much much more in San Francisco.” Or does now, at least. It did not function at the time of the announcement.
I know, I know, have some compassion! It’s not all delusional grandiosity and sugary treats: Incubating innovation by integrating public-private synergies is hard, people.
