SF Blogger Disappointed By Gannett Publication

The Bold Italic's Mothership“I know, you’re starting to run out of ways to publish the same tired stereotypes of SF neighborhoods over and over, but we can still do it! In this piece, a 24-year-old white person who’s lived in SF for 2 years will anthropomorphize an animal for each SF neighborhood.” [40 Going On 28]

My guess is that he’s talking about stuff like this.

Though, to be fair, another local blogger and one of Gannett’s (the Bold Italic’s parent company’s) harshest critics likes the BI, saying in February that “I really liked Bold Italic at its debut, and I still like it today: It’s one of the few digital efforts in Gannett that looks original, smart and even risky.” It’s hard to please everyone!
